3 years ago, I met a guy on a dating app. I met him around December 2017.
I was busy baking my Christmas orders since I’m a home-based baker. I tried to keep myself entertained with joining dating apps since I was single at that time.
So, this good looking guy messaged me (may photos sya of himself, atleast I know I’m not being catfished). We talked about random stuff, then he asked me:
“What keeps you busy aside from baking?”
Me: “Wala masyado. My life is boring. Good thing it’s Christmas, so medyo busy ako.”
Then he asked this question:
“Wanna make life interesting?”
Me: “What do you mean?”
Him: “Are you single? Have you heard about hooking-up?”
I was shocked. I didn’t know what to say but I did answer.
Me: “Yes, I’m single that’s why I’m boring. I heard of it, but I don’t fully understand the idea.”
So he responded and explained the whole idea — “we meet for dinner then have sex, if it works then maybe we can be fuck buddies”.
I was hesitant and scared but I said to myself — “just try it, ONCE lang then you’re done.”
So then and there I agreed to meet him on January 2018, after the holidays.
January 17, 2018 — early morning while I was prepping for work, my phone rang with the message he left me.
“Hi, good morning! See you later.”
Me: “To be honest, I’m scared but I won’t back out. Na build na yung imagination sa utak ko hahaha”
Him: “Oh good! So I’ll see you then? I will think of you while I’m working.”
He just left me smiling.
I arrived at work. I did my thing but I was really excited. 7pm ang out ko sa office and he knows it. He even told me he’ll pick me up. It felt like a date but it was definitely not haha so jokes on me for assuming.
7pm came and I immediately punched-out. I waited for his text, he was a bit late kasi may emergency meeting from his boss. Then I thought baka di kami matuloy or it’s the world saying “don’t do it”.
Around 7:30pm, gusto ko nang umuwi. I waited 30mins and no text from him. So I kept my stuff and decided to go home when suddenly I received a drop call – It was from him.
When I left the office there he was in the parking area with his lights blinking on hazard. Then I knocked. He immediately opened.
Me: “Hi, good evening.”
Him: “Hey, finally! But I’m sorry if I’m late may emergency call eh, I needed to be there.”
Me: “Oh no worries, duty calls.”
Him: “Yeahhh. So have you eaten? Where do you want to eat?”
Me: “Wala pa, but you can decide. Anything is good.” I let him decide since sya magbabayad.
Him: “How about drive thru? Is that okay? Or you want anything else?”
Me: “Drive thru is okay.” Gutom na din ako eh. Wag na mag inarte.
While driving, we started talking to break the awkwardness lurking in the car until we arrived at the drive thru.
Him: “Ano gusto mo? Get whatever you want.”
Me: “I’ll just have spaghetti and burger and fries.”
Him: “You sure? My treat kasi late ako. How about chicken? or sundae?”
Me: “Okay na yun. hehe Nakakahiya na.”
Him: “Really?”
Him to the crew: “Cge, Miss I’ll have 2pcs Spaghetti, 2pcs Burger, 2pcs fries. That would be all.”
Him: “No drinks? Baka gusto mo ng juice?”
Me: “I have water. Okay na ako dito.”
So we waited for our order then finally drove to his place.
When I entered his place, medyo makalat pa.
There were boxes of new appliances and home essentials — Drawer, Flat Iron, Mop, Rugs, Towels. He explained to me na he just moved to the city for work kaya di pa naaayos ang gamit nya because he also travels to his hometown every weekend.
Him: “Sorry makalat. I don’t really have much time to clean, since kakarating ko pa lang.”
Me: “No worries, sanay ako sa kalat. heh”
Him: “Here, sit down and let’s eat.”
Me: “Okayyy, thank you. Ikaw? Let’s eat!”
So sabay kaming kumain, it was so quiet so nagpatugtog sya ng music. Breaking the ice between us. Nakapag-usap naman kami ’til we finished eating.
When we finished eating, umarte ako na parang housewife. I cleaned the table, threw the garbage and checked his place.
My attention was caught by the other bed covered with pink floral sheets.
Him: “In case you’re wondering, I sleep here alone. Wala akong roommate. That bed is for my mom. She actually helped me acquire this place kasi she also knew the owner. Dapat daw she has her own bed pagbibisita sya, so that’s hers.”
Me: “Ohh I see.”
He started getting close and brush my hair away from my ear then he whispered —
“Jealous?”
Me: ” Ofcourse not! And why should I be?”
Him: “Wala lang, you’re my pretend girlfriend for now.”
Me: “Don’t worry, di ako madaling magselos.” Then I rubbed my hands on his chest running down to his crotch.
Me: “Can I take a shower?”
Him: “Sure, here’s some towels”
Pumasok ako sa banyo asking myself “what did I just get myself into?” Cold water running, soaping then I’m done.
“Hmmmmm? Smells good, you seem ready.”
Me: “haha cge na, maligo kana.”
He turned some of the lights off then entered the bathroom making a dim effect sa kwarto.
