Yena: Let’s rest muna then dinner na tayo lumabas.
Me: Fine with me, I will need to sort my stuff pa din.
Riss: Dinner sounds good! Where are we eating?
The ultimate question – Saan kakain? We then discussed kung saan kami kakain, checked the local resto recommendations in the city and from there nakapag-decide kami.
We were about to head out for dinner when Yena made a sudden change of plans.
Yena: Girls, change of plans!
Riss: What do you mean?
Yena: Let’s have dinner at _____
Me: Okayyy? Bakit doon? Diba medyo pricey don?
Yena: Don’t worry! I got you covered.
Me: Yen? It’s our 1st day here, may island tour pa tayo in the coming days baka mag-overbudget tayo.
Riss: Girl, Yena got us! Baka naman may afam kang di namin nalalaman?
Yena: haha You mean sugar daddy? Wala ah! Ano ka ba! So… we game?
Me: Okay lang ako, if okay din sa inyo.
Nagpunta kami sa resto and Yena led the way. From a far parang di ako sure sa nakikita ko but as we draw closer to the table I saw a familiar face, actually faces!
Yena: Heyyy!
Henry: Hey! You made it!
Yena: Yes, ofcourse! You invited us kaya nandito kami. Right, girls?
Riss: Hi Henry! Long time, no see! Hi guys!
I just smiled in the corner trying to grab Yena’s attention.
Me: Why are we here? Akala ko tayo lang?
Yena: Henry offered, kaya nandito tayo.
Me: I get that you have a thing for Henry but you should’ve told me na kasama nya si Kevin. Like what the hell? Small world ba? I don’t think so.
Yena: Hey, relax! Kasama mo naman kami and we’re here to have fun!
Riss: You okay? Food is ready sabi nila.
Me: Okay but after this, di na tayo makikisabay sa kanila.

I know Yena is going to break her promise kaya I’m preparing myself for the worst.

Looking straight into my eyes as if he was searching my soul for confirmation. Ang awkward na ng sitwasyon.
Me: Yeah! How’ve you been?
Kevin: Been great. You?
Me: Okay lang din.
Kevin & I had a history back in Highschool. We were together for a few months bago sya naharot ng highschool batchmate namin.
Back in highschool, Kevin was a teacher’s pet kasi responsible. I won’t say he’s mabait but he was what teachers adored. Iba din a glow-up nya! From the basic-shirt-guy to a color coordinated outfitter. He looked & smelled good, too!
Dinner went well na sila lang ang nag-uusap. I didn’t wanna talk to anyone since di naman kami ganon ka close. I think Yena invited herself to meet this people because of Henry.
It was 9pm and the resto asked if may gusto pa kaming i-order since may cut-off na sa kitchen nila.
I was kinda glad kasi finally we can rest, HOME!
Henry: Inuman at my place?

Me: Yen? Need pa ba natin sumama?
