I just moved on and continued to work. Almost 6 months na din kaming walang communication ni Czarina since both of us are busy sa kanya kanyang career. It was an ordinary day and my phone rang. It was an unknown number. I answered it and she introduced her self.
Lady: Good Morning. Can I speak with Mr Gunner Sullivan?
Me: speaking. Who’s this?
Lady: Hi! Good Morning Sir. This is Rachel Arevalo of Lexus Manila. I just saw your number here in the office and I just want to ask if you’re planning to get a unit?
Me: actually I’m still undecided.
Rachel: sir plase feel free to visit our showroom and I’ll be glad to assist you.
Me: sure. How about this saturday?
Rachel: sure sir. Thank you sir.
That weekend I went to the showroom at sinalubong naman ako ni Rachel. Napa wow ako hindi lang sa mga sasakyan kung hindi sa kanya. She stands around 5’7″ with an equally proportioned sveltte body, morena with a bra lengthed straightband shiny hair.
Rachel: Good Morning Mr Sullivan
Me: Good Morning Ms Arevalo.
We shook hands and she showed me around. I tried their sedans first like the ES, GS and LS pero nabababaan ako sa headroom.
Me: Rachel the headroom is too low for me.
Rachel: oh. Let me see. How about trying our SUV’s sir? We have the LX570 and the GX460.
Sinubukan ko itong sakyan and it fits perfectly for me.
Me: hmmmmm. The LX and the GX fits perfectly but the issue here is the price.
Rachel: sir you get what you paid for.
Me: panong sulit? Yung LX halos doble na ng Land Cruiser 200 tapos yung GX mas mahal pa sa Prado eh same platform lang naman.
Rachel: OMG! Marunong kang magtagalog.
Me: oo naman. Born and raised in the Philippines and my mother is a Filipino Chinese.
Rachel: naku kala ko pa naman mauubusan na ako ng english hahaha. Going back sir at least Lexus ang sasakyan mo. Pag Land Cruiser 200 at Prado kasi nagkalat na sa kalye. Syempre for your personality you like something that is rugged and elagant at the same time.
Me: pano mo naman nasabi? Because of my outfit? Hahaha
I was wearing a gray shirt, khaki tactical pants and a 5.11 shoes.
Rachel: kaw talaga sir. Actually it looks good on you.
Me: binobola mo naman ako eh.
Rachel: hindi naman sir.
Me: so help me decide?
Rachel: for me choose the GX. Pag yung LX kasi sir parang hiniram mo sa tatay mo yung sasakyan…
